My husband and I stopped in here last minute on our way home from having lunch with a friend celebrating my birthday, we are so glad we did! Although we… read more didn’t do the tour since it was late in the day we did a tasting with Tiana and it was amazing, we had such a wonderful time. She was amazing walking us through the whole tasting experience although it was later in the day it was never rushed and she let us take our time after to do a little shopping. We were excited to learn that this is such a great place and closer to home than expected. We will most definitely be back to do the tour and we are looking forward to making SKD our distillery of choice to bring out of town guests to visit.

We randomly pick SKD because it was on our route but it turned out to making new friends. We did a tour & tasting(Levi was very informative and funny)Enjoyed… read more most of what they have to offer. If you like peach get the Georgia Peach cocktail. My husband got an Old Fashion and it was amazing. Got to meet 2 of the founding owners (Kevin & Junior). Ended up going to listen to a band on the lake with them. It was probably one of our most fun HH stays. FYI it is the most southern distillery on the Bourbon Trail.
